Computer Aided Drafting is used in all phases of the design and manufacturing process, from 2D design and technical drawings to 3D models and prototypes.
At Virginia College in Birmingham, you'll be offered training in all aspects of the CADD field, including:

Virginia College in Birmingham offers full CADD facilities and instructors with real-world knowledge and experience. We also give you access to the latest software, supplemental software, and the equipment that you'll actually be using in your new career. You'll also get general education courses to help prepare you be more competitive in the business world.
You will have access to a broad-based education within a CADD environment. You can become proficient with the most commonly used software, and develop basic skills in 3D design, CADD customization, and surface modeling, all while you're developing your own professional portfolio.
