The amount quoted does not factor in individual circumstances such as transfer credits, course failures, and price changes. Books and supplies are included in the tuition. The College does not offer on-campus room and board.

The median loan debt for Federal loans is calculated based on students who graduated between July 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011, using the formula provided by the U.S Department of Education. An individual's loan debt will vary based on individual factors such as a student's decision to pay for the program from sources other than student loans or to borrow more than is needed to pay the direct costs of education, transfer credits, course failures, and program changes. Private educational loan data are based only on information reported to the College.

The length of the program will vary based on individual circumstances such as choosing to attend less than full time, failing or retaking a course or courses, changing programs, or choosing to take a greater than full-time course load.

The completion rate is calculated based on the cumulative results of students at all Virginia College locations that offer this program, who completed between July 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011. The completion rate is calculated using the formula provided by the U.S. Department of Education. It may not include all graduates who actually graduated from the program within the maximum allowable timeframe.

The job placement rate listed above is based on the cumulative results of graduates from all Virginia College campuses that offer this program and who were placed between July 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011. The placement rate is calculated using the formula promulgated by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. This formula excludes graduates who are unavailable for placement due to medical issues, continuing education, active military service, and immigration concerns. ·         A job placement rate of 37.93% (Jacksonville) and 26.67% (Pensacola) was also provided to the Florida Commission for Independent Education.  This rate is calculated including students who graduated from the program of study between 7/1/2010-6/30/2011. This rate does not include graduates who obtained employment after the placement reporting period ended. The placement percentage is calculated by number placed divided by final number of graduates.  Final number of graduates is determined by the total graduates minus those unavailable due to circumstances such as health issues, death, continuing education or military service.  This rate is to the best of our knowledge based on data received.  The College makes no promise or guarantee of employment. *Indicates no graduates during reporting period to place.

·         A job placement rate of 58.82% (Austin) was also provided to the Texas Workforce Commission.  This rate was calculated including students who graduated from the program of study between 9/1/2010-8/31/2011. This rate includes the number of graduating students who were employed in the field they were trained in by this program, as a percentage of all the students who graduated from the program, excluding graduates defined as unavailable for placement due to circumstances, such as death, military, or continuing education. Rates indicating "No Completers" indicates that there is no rate to report during this time period.  This rate only includes students classified as placed prior to the submission of the report and does not include graduates who began employment after the reporting period ended.  This rate is to the best of our knowledge based on data received.  The College makes no promise or guarantee of employment.

·         A job placement rate of 52.8% (Biloxi) and 69.4% (Jackson), as an average of the 2009-10 and 2010-11 years, was also provided to the Mississippi Commission on Proprietary School and College Registration.  These rates were calculated including students who graduated from the program of study between 7/1/2009 and 6/30/2011.  These rates are calculated by the total number of graduates placed, on or before September 15, 2011, in field and in related field divided by the total number of graduates and completers.  The total number of graduates and completer excludes those unavailable for placement due to circumstances such as health issues, death, continuing education or military service.  This rate does not include graduates who began employment after the placement reporting period ended. ·         A job placement rate of 61.1% (Chattanooga) was also provided to the Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC).  This rate was calculated including students who graduated from the program of study between 7/1/2010-6/30/2011.  The placement rate was calculated by using the total number of employed graduates divided by the total number of graduates defined as “placeable” by THEC.   The total number of “placeable” graduates does not include graduates who qualified for a placement exemption due to special circumstances, such as health issues, death, continuing education or military service. Tennessee programs listed with a rate of "N/A" (Not Applicable), indicate that there were less than 10 students enrolled in the program or there were graduates available. The placement rate reported only includes students classified as placed by September 15, 2011. This rate does not include graduates who began employment after September 15, 2011.
