Our medical billing and coding training program focuses on the fundamentals of medical office protocol and working with the main coding manuals in the field: Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM), and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS). In addition to learning the steps of diagnostic coding, you will also learn about the components of the various body systems and corresponding medical terminology, different types of insurance, the importance of confidentiality, and utilizing the same computer technology software used by medical records professionals.

Certifications for a Competitive Edge
