Catherine Brooks is not only an instructor in the Interior Design program at Virginia College's Birmingham, Alabama, location. She is a graduate. And her pride comes through in a segment recently featured on the city's CBS-TV affiliate, WIAT-TV. Brooks discussed ways to make a child's room less cluttered, and will cover similar topics on future appearances on the television station's morning news program. She was also letting people know about a special event at the school to celebrate 30 years of interior design. The program's director, Jamie Stone, has been with the school since the first days of teaching interior design, and there have been hundreds of successful graduates. One of them, Jason Champion, was a recent contestant on HGTV's Design Star.
