Recently, as Virginia College at Huntsville celebrated Constitution Day, the school received an unexpected visit from one of our founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin. Although he bore a remarkably similar appearance to Dr. Jim Hicks, the Dean for Academic Affairs, all who met Franklin were sure he was the real thing.  He was dressed in a traditional colonial outfit, all the way down to the knickers and stockings, and offered his usual sage advice and good humor as he greeted and mingled with the students and faculty.  Students even tried to get Franklin to give them a few hints on the Constitution Day quiz, but he insisted he was only there to greet and observe.  Besides, he admitted, his memory may have lapsed just a bit in the 220 years since the U.S. Constitution was first adopted.
