Weekend Fun Classes Return to Culinard in Birmingham

The chef/instructors at Culinard, the Culinary Institute of Virginia College in Birmingham are once again allowing the general public to learn techniques and skills they can apply to their own kitchens. The popular Weekend Fun Classes return for the fall with everything from barbecue to special holiday treats. The classes are taught by the instructors at the culinary school and take place in the teaching kitchens. They are completely hands-on, with participants doing all the cooking. All classes are held on Saturdays.
This fall's schedule is:
Saturday, October 24-Tailgate and barbecueSaturday, November 7-Thanksgiving
Saturday, November 21-How to cut a chicken and fry it
Saturday, December 5-Christmas treats
Saturday, December 12-Christmas in Paris
