Culinard Recognized as Exemplary Program by American Culinary Federation

Culinard, the Culinary Institute of Virginia College was recently recognized by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) as having an exemplary program that has met and exceeded the standards required of the accrediting commission. An award was recently presented to Culinard at the 2009 Southeast Regional Conference in Charlotte, N.C.

"We are very proud of the quality of our culinary program and excited to receive special recognition from the American Culinary Federation," says Chef Antony Osborne, Dean of Culinard. "Our programs at Culinard mold outstanding chefs who enhance the culinary community."

The award from the ACF establishes that Culinard maintains reputable standards, accountability and credibility. It recognizes that Culinard practices a high level of professionalism and teaches up-to-date and current culinary practices.

Culinard is a division of Virginia College owned by Birmingham-based Education Corporation of America. The ACF accredited culinary school offers Culinary Arts Diplomas and Pastry Arts Diplomas in addition to a Culinary Arts Associate Degree online for students who have already had formal training in culinary skills at a post-secondary level.
