Jason Campbell was not the judge's favorite on this week's episode of "Design Star" on the national cable channel HGTV. But he was not the one sent home either. Campbell is a graduate of Virginia College's Interior Design program at the Birmingham, Alabama, campus. He was also active in the school's ID student group, serving as president. Virginia College offers Interior Design programs at its campuses in Birmingham as well as in Mobile, Alabama.

The show pits designers against each other in a series of projects, which are judged on a list of criteria. The eventual winner gets his or her own show on the HGTV web site.

In Sunday night's episodes, the contestants were assigned a make-over of the entertainment rooms of two military families in Ventura County, California. To see a video recap of this week's episode, click HERE.
