Posted: Monday, April 27, 2009

Since late last year, Chef Antony Osborne--who is also Academic Dean--from Culinard, the Culinard Institute of Virginia College, has been demonstrating healthy nutritional offerings to the students at the Alabama School of Fine Arts (ASFA) in Birmingham, Alabama.  The program is titled "Feed Your Brain."  Also joining him in the sessions have been Culinard students and Nutrition Instructor Mary McIndoe.

The program was presented in partnership with Whole Foods, The Birmingham Weekly, Culinard, and Bright House Networks. This was a highly successful program and, according to all accounts, it was  thoroughly enjoyed by the students.   An example of one of the recipe cards that are distributed to attendees is reproduced here.

The series has been recorded by Bright House and are presently being aired at 5:30pm Mondays and Wednesdays on the cable system's channel 4.
