Virginia College/Pensacola Hosts Florida Educator Group

Virginia College in Pensacola, Florida, recently hosted the Florida Association of Post Secondary Schools and Colleges (FAPSC) Region Vl meeting at the campus. The welcome was given by Dr. Sara Lawhorne, Campus President, and the guest speakers were Natalie Prim of the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce and Marie Berry, Region Vl FAPSC representative.
Attending the luncheon meeting in addition to FAPSC members were David Podesta, General Manager of Region ll Virginia College campuses, Karen McFadyen of Pearson Publishing, representatives from Fortis Medical Center and from the School of Electrology, and members of the Virginia College Leadership team from the Pensacola campus: Katheryn Fox, Tim Moye, Pam Rodriguez, Michelle Sims, Melanie Parlier, Penny Pait, Barbara Inkel, Susan Weisner, Susan Phillips, Donecia Griffin, and Lawrence Powell. At the conclusion of the luncheon and meeting, the guests enjoyed a tour of the campus.
