The PASS IT ON Club, a student organization formed to carry on principles learned in their EDU1010 Learning Frameworks course, joined with faculty and staff to donate $1,240 to the American Red Cross. The Rotorac and Business Clubs had a pizza sale to help relief efforts and the PASS IT On Club encouraged everyone to donate change from any pizza purchase to the "Make Change for Haiti" fund.
Over a few days the change turned into dollars and at the final count, the PASS IT ON Club had raised $620 which was matched by faculty and staff bringing the entire fund-raising efforts to $1,240. Ms. Millie Anglin of the American Red Cross came to Virginia College in Huntsville's campus to receive the check. Students, faculty and staff learned through the gift of giving what it truly means to pass it on.
