Virginia College in Huntsville Holds Awards Ceremony
Posted: Wednesday, January 27, 2010

Each quarter, the Huntsville, Alabama, campus of Virginia College holds an awards ceremony to recognize student efforts and achievements. As part of the most recent event, campus president Jim Foster awarded three laptop computers to students (pictured left to right James Manley, Martin Parlier, Tanisa Bradley, along with Foster).
Students wrote letters to themselves detailing the importance of getting an education. These letters, as well as postcards that were mailed to students during the term break, served as entry forms. The winners were determined by a random drawing when they returned to class for the Winter Term 2010.
