Moore to Head New Virginia College in Augusta, Georgia; Massien Assumes Biloxi Post

Chris Moore has been selected to head a new Virginia College campus in Augusta, GA.  More, who has been serving as the president of the Virginia College campus in Biloxi, Mississippi, will begin his new assignment in Augusta on February 16th.  This will allow a smooth transition in operations at the Biloxi school.  Moore will report directly to Mike Largent, the eastern regional vice-president.  Prior to Moore's assignment as Biloxi campus president, he was the Director of Admissions at Virginia College's Birmingham, AL, and Austin, TX schools.  Moore has over 10 years experience in the education field with Career Education Corporation, Kaplan, and Virginia College.  He completed his Bachelors in Business Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Jeff Massien has been named as president of the Biloxi campus replacing Moore.  In his new role, Moore will report directly to David Podesta, western regional vice-president for Virginia College.  Massien has been with Virginia College since the later part of 2008, preparing and training for a campus management role.  He has over 25 years experience in a variety of leadership positions including having been president and general manager at United Design Corporation and Fleer Corporation.   He has successfully completed his Juris Doctor, M.B.A, and Bachelor of Arts degrees.  Massien joined the team in Biloxi during the week of January 26th.

Plans are to begin enrolling students in Augusta in April for a June 29 class start.
