At Virginia College, Teachers and Students Get Apples

During their recent "Student Appreciation Day," Virginia College's Birmingham, Alabama, campus concentrated on student health. The campus sponsored a flu shot clinic and then topped it off with the natural medicine--fruit. Since Johnny Appleseed is traditionally honored during the month of October, and since being healthy was a theme of the appreciation day, everyone was offered a healthy snack, "Red Delicious" and "Granny White" apples.
