Top Pastry Chef Visits Culinard/Birmingham
World renowned pastry chef Nicholas Lodge recently visited Culinard, the Culinary Institute of Virginia College in Birmingham, Alabama, for a demonstration that focused on various cake decorating techniques. Chef Lodge is a frequent guest on various "Food Network" competitions and programs. The demonstration was open to Culinard students and anyone in the pastry field from the area.
Chef Antony Osborne, Dean of Culinard, says, "The demonstration was very insightful. Our students, alumni and visitors from around Birmingham really enjoyed it and learned a lot. We certainly appreciate Chef Lodge joining the long list of guest chefs who have visited Culinard in Birmingham and Jacksonville, Florida."
