Pensacola Virginia College Employees Receive Regional United Way Award

Virginia College in Pensacola, Florida, was recently rewarded with a plaque in recognition of "Best Performance Against Goal" for Region 2 for the 2009 Education Corporation of America United Way Campaign. Since it was the first year of participation for this great charity, the staff worked diligently and was able to show how teamwork pays off. Dr. Sara Lawhorne, the Campus President, is already looking forward to leading the team into next year's campaign and they are already developing new ideas for the effort.
