Virginia College News

Students from the Greenville, South Carolina, campus of Virginia College recently participated in a health and wellness fair sponsored by Spinx Oil Company. They were accompanied by an academic coordinator, a program director, and members of the admissions team. The wellness fair rotated hundreds of people in and out throughout the day. The students had the opportunity to provide blood pressure screenings for Spinx employees, giving them a great opportunity for students to get real world experience.

Also participating and performing chair massages were the following students from Virginia College's Therapeutic Massage program: Shantel Sanders, Alexandria Masters, Caroline Sussewell, Rory Fernanders, and Lynette Sloan.  The students were on the McAlister Center Stage area where all attendees could observe them doing chair massages and inquire about massage therapy or attending the Virginia College massage program.  The students gave 50 to 60 massages to very grateful and enthusiastic clients.
