Virginia College kicked off Halloween by holding events at campuses across the country. The Spooktacular events invited students, families and guests to celebrate with refreshments, games, giveaways and more.
While activities at Spooktacular events varied from campus to campus, many had one thing in common — the costumes! Virginia College students and families took dressing to impress to a whole new level this Halloween.
Virginia College in Austin celebrated with pumpkin painting, trick-or-treating, a scavenger hunt and a costume contest. The students went all out with their costumes and outfits, and the competition was fierce!
“Our Halloween events have become a campus and community favorite for family-friendly fun,” says Virginia College in Baton Rouge Campus President Bill Wells. “It is a great opportunity to get to know both our staff and other students at Virginia College. It was great to see everyone join us for the Spooktacular!"
Virginia College in Macon included a number of refreshments, games and activities for children. Trunk-or-treating was a big hit with the little ones and the event was even capped off with a Cosmetology hair contest.
Decorations at the Macon campus were some of the best on display at this year’s Spooktacular. The campus served Halloween-themed cupcakes and other desserts, but the real eye-catchers were the trunk-or-treat vehicles. Participants’ cars took on spooky looks and personalities of their own!
