This is where it all begins. Choose from an assortment of trade programs at Virginia College. Our teaching staff has the real-world experience that could help prepare you to pursue a new career and a reliable future.

Our trade diploma/certificate programs are designed to teach you the skills needed to enter a rewarding field. Occupations like heating, air conditioning and refrigeration mechanics and installers are projected to grow 15 percent from 2016 to 2026, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.1

We offer several trade programs, from CDL truck driver training and electrical technician training to HVAC-R training and welding. Whether you are interested in becoming an electrical technician or helping people cool off, you’ll find our trade diploma/certificate programs offer a variety of specialized training that could help you stand out from the crowd.
